Planning for the Fair

Candidates will receive an official 2020 Oregon Professional Educator Fair Candidate Resource Manual upon entry with important information to help you plan and make your Fair experience successful. Information includes:

  • Oregon Convention Center Exhibit Hall map

  • School District + Agency main booth location

  • School District + Agency interview booth location

  • List of projected positions available (as communicated by School District/Agency at the time of registration)

Formulate a plan to maximize your opportunities at the Fair. The Candidate Resource Manual will show the openings districts have forecasted and where they are located in the Convention Center Exhibit Hall. Identify and prioritize districts ahead of time to ensure an opportunity to visit them during the day. Districts registered for the Fair can be found here" List of Registered School Districts + Agencies to Date " which is automatically updated as districts register.

Prior to the OPEF event you are encouraged to file your application electronically on the program(s) your preferred agencies are using. Find out more about Oregon Teacher Licensure here
