Oregon School Personnel Association (OSPA) offers Human Resources in Education Leadership Program (HrELP) courses designed to equip K-12 HR professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in today’s dynamic educational landscape.

HrELP Courses

In-Field Learning through OSPA Professional Development Events

This course is a full-year educational experience (two consecutive semesters) that features a variety of relevant state and federal laws and regulations updates, licensure information, legislative updates, and deep dives into current HR practice.

Please Note: The In-Field Learning Course may only be taken once, and individuals must be enrolled in the HrELP program.

The $695.00 course fee includes the registration fees for the following three annual OSPA professional development events—a savings of $372.00!

  • October– OSPA Fall Summit

  • February– OSPA Advanced HR Winter Retreat

  • April– OSPA Spring Conference

Oregon Laws & Requirements

Oregon Laws & Requirements is part of the HrELP program series as well as an invaluable stand-alone course developed to benefit all levels of HR professionals and administrators with HR responsibilities.
