Our Mission
Empowering Oregon’s K-12 HR Professionals With Knowledge, Networking And Best Practices
The purpose of the Oregon School Personnel Association (OSPA) is to:
a) foster the staffing of Oregon school systems with the highest qualified individuals; and b) encourage and assist in the development and utilization of exemplary school personnel administration practices.
All individuals with responsibilities for personnel administration and related functions in public, private, or postsecondary school systems in the State of Oregon are invited to become members of OSPA. Membership in OSPA requires an annual fee. You may register as a member by going here.
One of the most important benefits of membership is access to a statewide network of people in positions similar to yours. The regular regional meetings of the association, held in the fall at five different region sites, and in the spring at the annual Spring Conference, and our advanced retreats, workshops and conferences strengthen these connections.
Please help us spread the word. Thank you for your support!
Our Vision
Oregon School Personnel Association (OSPA) envisions every Oregon K-12 student surrounded and supported by the highest quality education professionals. OSPA recognizes that human resources play a central role in shaping this vision by recruiting, supporting, and retaining the education professionals who surround our students. OSPA’s vital role is to give education professionals with human resource responsibilities throughout Oregon the knowledge, networking and best practices they need to develop and continuously improve.
